FUN PARK TO VISIT
This beautiful park is located on South Broad Street and East Front Street, and it’s full of beautiful scenery no matter which way you walk. The park is surrounded by historical brownstones and houses, one well known house on the park once belonged to President George Washington.
The natural landscape surrounding the park includes a beautiful river running through with beautiful clear water with tons of exposed stones and rocks with wildlife everywhere. A truly relaxing spot for all to enjoy, especially with serene running water, make this place a gem for meditation.
If you happen to be next to the river and look up, you see the Jackson Street Bridge, made in Trenton
Around the park you will find some well maintained paths for your running, walking or cycling pleasure. However if you prefer to host a barbecue or picnic with family, you will find many spots. However, if you just want to sit on a bench and relax with a loved one, you can do just that. This park is almost 3 acres, it’s well maintained and a wonderful park for children, pets and events.

GREAT FUN IN TRENTON
This museum is not to be underestimated, simply because it’s not located in a high tourist area, this museum has zero to envy, it’s one of the best museums in the New Jersey. What a fun Sunday we had visiting the NEW JERSEY STATE MUSEUM! Excellent and friendly customer service, very welcoming. Especial thanks to the kind, friendly and professional staff members of Frank the guard from the 3rd floor and Denni the Planetarium manager and guide. These guys were exceptionally great and are very much an asset to the museum’s personal.
Let’s now talk about the fine details of the museum, the museum is beautiful, well organized and flawlessly clean, a place that showcases an immense amount of high quality collections and content. The museum offers four floors of amazing New Jersey historical facts.
Most recent rude awakening in the City of Trenton. With a city that hosts an abundance of churches, you would think our city would be more peaceful. The reality is that this important Capital City still has a local gangs epidemic management problem. Thus, Trenton is pretty safe, friendly people of all cultures, no matter which neighborhood you live in, the gang presence haunts our communities and bottom line is that more government enforcement is needed to really clean up the City of Trenton. We’ve spoken to some locals that have witnessed plain sight drugs deals while some enforcement in uniforms observes without a care in the world. What is truly sad about all this is, that people will raise awareness or pay attention if something should happen to a loved one. This should not be the case, the case should be, let’s all take care of each other and our community.
Early this morning, about 3 am a shooting happened during what was supposed to be a beautiful and peaceful 24-hour Art All Night Festival for the community, totally unfair to those seeking for an enjoyable time in support of the community. Unfortunately, 22 humans were injured and the perpetrators were said to be gang members, one of them was killed by enforcement at the scene. Local enforcement responded quickly to the shooting and brought order. All public and private events should be staffed with a great amount of local security regardless, enforcement presence will create a safety synergy for the community and increase our safety statistics at the same time. It feels terrible to see that such a promising community of hard-working people with healthy visions for the city of Trenton have to suffer this way. We are truly saddened to see our community being terrorized and put in danger this way. The amount of energy, passion, efforts, organization, and love that takes to put together any communal event is never an easy task, and morally speaking how can some people be so evil to want to intentionally hurt innocent people, some are simply just sick and ill. A better system across the United States should be implemented to gangs and gun violence and Trenton as the Capital City of New Jersey has all the power to be pioneers and be an example to other States. Violence from mental to physical and of any kind, shall not be tolerated. Let’s make the City of Trenton a safer place for all, a city that respects its laws, a city where it’s people truly care for each other.
Our love and warmest recuperation sentiments go to all the victims injured during 2018, 24-hour Art All Night Festival. Our deepest appreciation to all the local officers, risking their lives to save and protect the community. And great thanks to all the members of the Art All Night Festival, whom for 12 years have worked so hard to create positive in the community, we simply hope you do not get discouraged and continue your beautiful event.
From Trenton NJ Today, we appreciate all of your efforts.
The ROEBLING LOFTS of Trenton NJ, are beautiful and conveniently located to all transportations to NY, NJ, PA, shopping and restaurants in the vicinity. The converted factory to living space was designed with all modern luxury amenities and green designs. The Roebling Lofts retained it’s industrial structures with modern luxury style.
What makes this residential property so special is it’s green amenities which include solar window treatments, gourmet kitchens, electric charging stations in parking lot and the list goes on.
After seeing this project, i can tell Trenton is slowly morphing into another hip New York City area, such as Williamsburg and Bushwick in Brooklyn and the Meat Packing District of NYC. And who doesn’t want to be there??? For those in the know, we can say it’s very expensive to live in those areas. And if this growth continues, I can safely predict, Trenton will become a hot spot with high demands. All very exciting and uplifting for the city and community, we need more projects like these so Trenton can continue to grow and offer more jobs for the local. As you can see Roebling Lofts is one of the first market movers and shakers to the Trenton movement.

“Fair Employment Opportunities Is What The People Of Trenton Want And Need. And I Am Trying To Do That, But The Local Banks Don’t Want To Open The Doors To Investors, So We Can Repair And Restore Our Properties.” Victor Abreu.
After our encounter with Trenton native Kevin Picott, we realized, there is a lot to be done for the people of the Trenton community. Victor owns several properties in Trenton and they are sitting wasting away as he pays the yearly taxes on these properties. After carefully analyzing Trenton’s real estate game, it’s obvious that it is beyond unfair to all investors who are not all getting favorable support, investors who have arrived at this destination to only get financially evaporated with zero incentives from local lending institutions. Many of these investors have high hopes that something positive will happen anytime soon with each other’s support. And, as an outsider, I cannot understand why the local banks and city of Trenton are not seeing the long-term benefits of assisting investors financially. It’s almost as if the government and local lending institutions want to continue to suppress Trenton.
Trenton has too much beauty and greatness to offer. And this suppression epidemic is completely rampaging. It’s impressive how the financially stable and the not financially stable can be in the same boat with the same concerns, the direction does not matter and the ones truly hurting are the investors and the lower income communities who once owned something and because Trenton failed to take care of their own, these are the same families that have lost their homes to pennies, due to unfair tax liens. It’s a catch 22, Trenton fails to give it’s own locals and natives, job opportunities so they can pay for their homes, personal expenses and anything else they fancy.
Trenton’s economy is a serious disaster and the survivors are the small mom and pop businesses that survive because they are the true risk takers and the only ones that will serve the communities. Just a handful of franchises around the city that are successful, because it’s their only presence of the commercial market. Some are lucky and grateful to have jobs.
Trenton is ghost city after Friday evening to Monday morning. Trenton is the capital of New Jersey, it’s the powerhouse of New Jersey, about 99% of all the government employees reside outside of Trenton, hence the emptiness after work hours. After speaking to several locals, I find that the people of this city are hungry to work, these are hard-working people who seek better opportunities, they are willing to work and with so many empty and boarded properties, they can’t get a job. Trenton is off balance. Such a wonderful city, full of history, life and fantastic opportunities, the local bankers and local government make it impossible to repair or sell to better the city’s negative perception.
After many deep conversations with Victor Abreu, I understood what a handful of local investors are trying to accomplish out of pocket. For about 2 years, Victor has been searching for funding opportunities, he’s gone as far as trying to sell some properties to stop the financial bleeding. All that Victor is working hard for at this time its to find lenders or investors to share his vision. As long as he can repair these properties, he can continue with his fantastic plans which the community will benefit from with jobs and stability.
“One day I will find investors that share my vision, it’s not that difficult, I just can’t continue on my own. When I purchased all these properties, I was very much under the impression that Trenton as a city wanted to develop and progress, it is not the mentality. I believe in Trenton, I fell in love with Trenton and I know that sooner or later, situations will improve. I just, wish that lenders can take the time to visit Trenton and see firsthand that Trenton is not bad as it once was when it went through its depression. Trenton is full of golden opportunities, that’s all I want them to see.” Victor Abreu
What’s sad is that the required finances are completely normal requests that any lender can handle with their eyes closed, but the minute they hear Trenton, they back off. I predict a very prosperous Trenton in about two years, this city is going to bloom in such a way that many will wish they had participated in its renaissance. Trenton is a goldmine, all I can say is that Trenton’s peoples are strong and optimistic, all it takes is vision and unity.
This beautiful garden is located outside our free public library. It’s nicely manicured and enclosed for safety. But why is no one sitting outside? I am wondering…. the staff is very friendly and helpful, the library is very clean and orderly, the place is well maintained and quiet. They even have a designated session of free books anyone can welcome to take. By the way… the library takes books and music cd’s donations, feel free to drop them off.
Heres’ the deal, libraries are being less and less visited due to the rapid power of technology and digital world at our hands. However, I still believe it’s nice to visit a library, touch a book and read the same literature another person did. Literature is still king and books are still very much important. It’s just a shame to see fewer people visiting what was once considered the gatekeepers of literature and bound books. Believe it or not, you can find books are priceless and full of great importance, especially those rare ones.
Please visit the Trenton free public library, they offer some wonderful activities and programs for all ages. This stunning antique structure originated in 1750 and it’s still cared for so everyone can continue to enjoy its beauty and everything it has to offer. This library offers much more than meets the eyes, you can have a look at old mas of Trenton, exclusive collections, old newspapers, research materials and much more. A great place to get lost in time and have some quiet time in the garden.
Have You Ever Visited A City That Hosts A Church On Almost Every Few Blocks?
What has happened here, why such a church conscious city and for whatever reason how blessed are we. Trenton has it’s own culture altogether, however, I have never seen a city with the many churches on almost every few blocks radius. I just make me feel that perhaps something went wrong a few hundred years ago and the religious presence arrived. Maybe it’s a positive thing. Religious or not, we have no choice, these beautiful structures were built to last and they are absolutely fascinating to admire for its architecture aspects. We are on assignment to bring you a count of churches in Trenton, so far I’ve counted about 13. We have started our own church collection, where we will showcase all the churches on Trenton. Stay tunned.
Ever wonder what a spring in Trenton, NJ feels and looks like?
We have captured its spring essence and as far as feeling, well, let’s say on the weekends it’s very quiet, during the weekdays it’s busy. But when it’s calm, you can literally hear the flowers falling. Quite calming and beautiful. We have many canals to admire and you can hear the running river waters, parks are calm with people walking their dogs, riding their bicycles, lovers hugging on the bench and kids running around. Spring is beautiful in Trenton. Photography by Giselle Trujillo.

“Made In USA, Must Come Back To The Fashion Industry And I Want To Be Part Of That Movement. Trenton Is A Great Place To Host My Atelier And Boutique.” Giselle Trujillo
After so many years in the fashion and outsourcing industry, I finally catch a break. I’ve always wanted to develop my own shoe factory in the states, and years later, here we are, in Trenton, New Jersey, who knew. It’s actually a very natural progression for me, it’s in my DNA, my father owned a ladies garment factory in NYC, my great uncle owned 5 footwear factories in the Dominican Republic and so all this feels very natural to me. What I did not predict, was that I would be coming to Trenton, NJ to fulfill this goal. The plans are clear, the location is clear and opportunity is absolutely golden for me. I get to bring some employment to Trenton, that makes me feel wonderful and I get to manufacture in the USA, which is the ultimate happiness for me. I’ve been dealing directly with manufacturers from India, Brazil, China, Turkey, and Mexico, but this opportunity has me very excited, to actually be able to attend and watch my production closely, to sit down with my cobblers and share all my crazy designs, this is priceless. This opportunity can open many doors for all of us. I do foresee setting up my factory for servicing and welcoming other established and new designers. 10 years ago, I called the last 7 shoe factories left in the USA, to bring my production to the States and they all turned me down due to my low order quantities and at the time they wanted to push their own brands. Well, I want to welcome small orders. That, of course, is a longterm goal, a few years down the road.
Most exciting for me is having the proper facility and neighborhood in Trenton to host my factory. Putting together a proper shoe factory is not an easy task and requires meticulous planning procedures. I have to allocate specific stitching and cutting machines, proper tools, I already have my leather and component suppliers, I will need my design and sampling room, a showroom, proper lasts (shoe molds), skilled cobblers (shoemakers), the list goes on and on. My brands are high luxury goods and will only be purchased via my websites, I sell directly to my clients, all my products have a hidden code with pertinent details about that specific item. I did the distribution and retail deal for a few years and it’s no longer necessary. The plan is to make handcrafted fashion leather shoes and leather accessories from right here in Trenton. Our goods will be crafted with fine imported leathers, from Italy, Turkey, and India.
Why a shoe factory??? Because bespoke shoes are a dying art. Handcrafted shoes are a luxury, the commercial footwear industry is saturated with poor quality shoes being made of synthetic materials that are unhealthy for the human feet. I worked closely with Chinese manufacturers and I can list so many problems for you, you will be shocked, China has about 3 fine and high-quality shoe factories and thousands of mass production factories that run 24 hours a day at very little pay. I can write all about the nasty side of the fashion industry and you will never support shoes made in China again. You cannot compare high quality crafted shoes to mass-produced shoes, there is no comparison. As a fashion designer, I specialize in fashion footwear and accessories design and high-quality goods. Ther is nothing more elegant than to slip into a pair of shoes that fit you like a glove. My goal is to produce, show and sell all under one roof, so factory, showroom, and shop, my boutique will be by invitation only. Trenton is a very quiet place, a perfect hideaway for my clients.
Aside from luxury, we are also planning a really fun shop that will carry the best international goods, will cater to all consumers and open to the public which will generate about 10 employment opportunities for the city.
A Must Visit McDonald’s Restaurant Location, A Local And Visitors Favorite
In a million years did I think I would be writing about a McDonalds. But this restaurant location is really treated as a restaurant with table service and deliciously prepared foods. It’s incredible just how many little gold mines ai keep discovering in Trenton. And this is my favorite restaurant in Trenton so far. I get to brag about this McDonald’s location because I normally don’t eat here, but this location feels more like a gourmet restaurant with an extensive custom making menu, most importantly, from the minute you park your car on this lot, you will feel the difference, the lot is always immaculate, the greeting at the door is very welcoming, the associated will welcome you with warm smiles and will take their time to assist you with anything you want to put together. The bathrooms is always locked and operated by its gatekeeper. Restrooms are immaculately clean, the entire restaurant is immaculately clean, food is delicious and service is of the highest quality, your food order is always brought to your table. I’m telling you, this place is a peaceful and super clean restaurant to visit, but, judge for yourself, next time you visit the area, it’s located on Chambers street. Let us know about your experience.
